Phattalung

Hang Kang
Hang Kang, also known locally as “Yak Yai” (giant leaf), is a wild kratom strain grown from seed, with its strongest expression found on our supplier’s farm in Phatthalung Province, southern Thailand. This variety is known for its large, thick leaves with horned (dentate) edges near the tip — a natural trait that sets it apart from smoother-edged types. While Hang Kang is predominant in their trees, some also show Kan Khiao characteristics, reflecting the natural variation seen in mature wild kratom.
Unlike grafted strains like Maeng Da, Hang Kang is naturally propagated from seed. It is traditionally chewed fresh or brewed as tea for long-lasting, smooth energy. Known across the south for its strong yield and dependable strength, Hang Kang reflects the true character of wild Thai kratom — regional, rooted, and time-tested.
